It is very important that your child come to school every day.  If they are running fever or throwing up, or for some other valid reason need to miss school, please send an excuse with them the day they return.  A parent note is sufficient up to 10 absences.  Once a student has 10 absences, they must have a doctor's note or a legal excuse in order for the absence to be excused beginning with day 11.  This is explained more in the Student Parent Information Guide that you received the first few days of school. 

In order to emphasize the importance of good attendance, we have decided that a student who has 10 absences will not be allowed to go on fieldtrips of any type.  Hopefully, this will help to encourage them to attend school!
